What is commercial dance?
In simple words, commercial is the style of dance that is widely used in music videos and concerts. Think Tate McRae, Ciara, Britney Spears, Jason Derulo, just to name a few. Commercial is a mix of different styles which makes it versatile and suitable for a wide variety of applications.
What is a beginner level?
Beginner level is for people who have no previous dance experience or danced years ago and now want to get back into it.
How is a dance program different from an open class?
While I will do open classes occasionally, the main format of my classes is 4-week dance programs. Dance programs are closed programs meaning once the registration is closed, no new members can join until the following month. Dance programs are designed to help dancers improve coordination and mobility, learn the choreography at a pace comfortable for them, connect with other dancers in the class,  and become more comfortable in their bodies and performing alongside other dancers.
I'm not a beginner, can I still attend the program?
Technically yes; however, I will be breaking down choreography at a pace which is comfortable for beginner dancers, which might be too slow-paced for experienced dancers. Please DM me if you are not a beginner but would love to attend my classes, and I will do my best to organise  an intermediate class if there's enough interest.
Can men attend these classes?
Yes, I will prepare an alternative choreography including more masculine elements for men who want to participate in a program but are not ready to get in touch with their feminine side 🤭 Everyone in the class will dance the same choreography but with slight variations for men and women.
What do I need for the class?
Wear comfortable shoes and clothes and bring a bottle of water.
What is a professional video in a dance program?
At the end of 4 weeks I want my dancers to see the result of their hard work and dedication. That's why during the last class, I will have my good friend and a fellow dancer come in and take some photos and videos while we are dancing. These videos are not for promotional purposes, rather for you to have as a memory of each choreography you learn in my program 😊
Is filming during classes allowed?
Yes, it's actually encouraged. Whether you're going to share it on social media or not, it's good to film yourself to later look back on and see what areas you would like to improve, and which moves and combos you need to practice a little more. Dance is very visual and while you can 100% do it for your enjoyment only, we will be working on our musicality, cleanness and sharpness as dancers and that's where videos can be very helpfull.
